Please remember to bring at least two pencils with erasers and your calculator to the competition! I'll see you there! I will have a few calculators for students to borrow, but bring yours if you have one. I don't have enough for everyone. Remember registration starts at 8:30 and it's in Pleasanton, so make sure you give yourself enough travel time to get there.

Notes from Feb 7th meeting
On Feb 7th we went over the actual team problems from the tournament last year. They are good ones to study even for those not on the team of 4 since they are similar to target problems on the individual test.
Team problem solutions
If you have extra time to work on problems and you want more practice, here are the rest of the problems that we didn't get to this year. Only do these if you have done all the other problems already and you have studied / memorized the formulas on "Many Cheerful Facts"!

Meeting notes from Jan 17th
Here is a video you should watch about 30-60-90 triangles that we went over in the meeting, and 45-45-90 which are simpler but you should also understand.
30-60-90 triangles
45-45-90 triangles
These are the only special triangles that regularly get used, so if you understand how these works, you understand them all! I know these workouts are getting harder, so I'm just asking you work on it each week and do what you can!
